Ernie Best Driver Training was started in 2003 in Inverness and the Ullapool area after many years in various roles in the LGV and PCV transport industry initially training car drivers.
In 2004 we entered the Fleet training register to include Fleet Driver Training. The work was in association with two large national training companies. Whose clients included Diageo’s and Travis Perkins. Training was mainly with fleet car drivers and LGV drivers.
Joining the DSA voluntary Register for LGV in 2008/9 was a natural progression of our training ambitions into an area of training and work that is very satisfying to us. This also allows us to offer driver CPC training in association with Pride Training (UK) limited, one of the first and respected national driver CPC training companies.

An additional service we supply is if you have an employee to be trained or just the final touches to prepare for the driving test for a PCV or LGV licence using your vehicle, we would come to your premises to complete the training.
